Whether or not this is possible depends on the type of license you are using.

Trial version

The 42-day count starts when the trial starts. Because the license will be invalidated after 42 days, it cannot be deactivated until then.

PRO version

Launch Editor and go to [Help] → [Deactivate License]. The license is deactivated and you can use the FREE version.
